We’ve always focused on making fonts that are both functional and expressive. But over time, a specific need kept coming up from a growing community of creators. People who work with laser engravers, pen plotters, CNC machines, and other precision tools.
Creators working with precision tools often struggle with standard outline fonts. (John Mars)
They kept telling us the same thing: most fonts don’t work.
Standard fonts are made with outlines, meant to be filled or printed. But for these machines, what’s really needed is a clean, single line. Not two lines pretending to be one. Not strokes that have to be expanded, traced, or fixed by hand. Just simple, direct paths.
That’s where the idea started. We realized how few true single line fonts existed and how much technical friction creators faced trying to make things work. So we decided to help.
A typical outline font (left) vs a true single line path (right). The difference matters for machines.
We began designing real single line fonts, fonts made from single strokes, not outlines. Fonts that move efficiently from point to point, reducing tool lift and material waste. Fonts that just work, whether you’re engraving on wood, plotting on paper, or drawing on metal.
Our single line fonts are optimized for clean results with less material waste.
Our first release, MO Bloom, is a lightweight script designed especially for engraving, foil, and pen plotting. It’s available in multiple formats like SHP, SVG, OTF-SVG, and WOFF, depending on your setup.

And we’re just getting started. We’re actively working on more formats, styles, and use cases, guided by what real users like you need. If there’s a specific format, machine, or lettering style you want to see supported, we’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for being part of this journey.
